Children of The Flowers

So... I just finished the movie Dick starring Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams. There acting were absolutely stunning.
The movie was also so interesting because it showed the 70's through air-headed teenage girls. These girls where inside the white house, so you could see the 1970's government from the point of view of an average citizen and white house authority. The girls unwittingly get involved in the Watergate scandal that brought down the Nixon administration. If you haven't seen it, then now is your chance! (Link to Trailer)


I also LOVED the crazy flower-child style these 15 year old girls have, and once agian I am yearning to have been alive when all of this was going down.


Sorry, this post is so picture heavy, but I just loved Arlene and Betsy's clothing.

Because I am now on the look out for an "O" Shaped pin! 

 Because I don't understand why nobody dresses like this anymore.

Because I want to wear matching watermelon sweaters (pajamas?) while I bake cookies! 

Because i love PRINT! 

Because this is the best shot I could get of her shoes, they are incredible!

Because I didn't give her plaid coat enough recognition.  

 Because now a days people would call her too obscure and pretentious.  

Because I want this outfit.

Because he is the male version of my english teacher. 

Because she just told the president what a peace sign is. 

Because I think everyone needs a shrine to something. 

Because they find out they have been giving the president pot cookies. 

Because I wish I had a head band that didn't look ridiculous on me. 

Because one day I will open up a psychedelic skating parlor and, everyone will have to dress like this.   

Because a vest can make any outfit fashionable. 

Because monochromatic clothing is coming back harder than ever!

Because I am still looking for a yellow dress. 

Because I wish people this fashionable would eves drop on my conversations! AND I really want a pair of mint colored high

Because everything about this picture makes me happy.  

Because a you can wear pajamas under a trench coat, and no one would ever know. 

Because I want to embroider my name on a shirt.

Because I never realized how much I need a plastic rain jacket.  

Because Ryan Reynolds was still hot 12 years ago (when I was 2!). 

Because floral dresses are timeless.

Because they made clothing out of an american flag. 

Because this whole movie is spectacular.
